Beautiful illustration. What medium? I love the vibrant colors. It is so you.

Joy, the media is markers. I hung it on a glass door to have the background light to intensify already intense colors. Thank you for recognizing the style as mine. The new designs on the iPad are a difficult transition for me. (Not as tactile as the huge watercolors.)

I did not know that foxes will hunt butterflies, in the literal sense — unless, perhaps, a baby or juvenile fox is just practicing hunting skills, playing with the butterfly. Alternatively, perhaps the fox pouncing on a butterfly is a metaphor in full color!

Imagine the baby fox. Am working on a picture book and keep falling into non-fiction because of the appeal of the Siberian Study to breed fox domestic pets.
