    Jeanne, What a great photograph! It brings to mind a red-tailed hawk that crashed into our windows in NC. He had a little Carolina wren in his mouth. The crash saved the little wren from becoming dinner. So I’m thinking your owl is saying, “I’m taking the cus-turd home for dessert.”
