The Second Sunday of Advent 12/5/2021
All flesh shall see the salvation of the Lord.
Crying out in the wilderness; Baby Jesus in a barn
and the Prince of Peace coming in the final times.
St Bernard says there are three Advents:
In between the Baby and the Prince is the 2nd coming
When Christ rises from the dead and comes into our hearts, personally.
Jesus is born in our hearts
The divine love of God will flatten the hills and fill the valleys
To make straight the way of the Lord.
He begins a work of grace in me, and completes his work to make us in the image of God.
As TS Eliot says, “the beginning is the end”.
It is a cycle and every year a new beginning will be born in us.
