Life is a very brief journey. Very brief. We can either be intimidated by that truth or we can be inspired to live life to the fullest. A jewel of truth is hidden in every moment in life. We can pause and ask, “What is really going on here?” or “What is the deeper reason why I am responding as I am?” There is no end to the quest for truth in our lives or, as the Buddha would say, the breakdown of our illusions. It is a long road to becoming an empty vessel. This journey requires endless endurance, for there is nothing simple about encounters with truth.
