This was a big sensation when first blogged…
The Vibrant Channeled Creator

A hoity-toity boor
full o’ malarky ‘n shenanigans
met her whirlygig nincompoop
in cahoots with a topsy-turvy ragamuffin
busy as a one armed coat hanger
on a cockamamie doohickey
of a hodgepodge afternoon.
Before sunset,
the scalawag skedaddled off
with her pipsqueak
for a roly-poly overnighter
of razzmatazz ramshackle razzle-dazzle!

Antidote (Poem Spell)
.
stone in my heart be dust, be dust.
annoying wind, be cranberry yarn.
midnight storm, bring the clear tides in.
leaping dogs, bring the salty shells.
peasant bread, dip in olive oil.
reeds gold and pink, blow in the light.
clenched fist, open and wait.
riot of sunlight, set in the night.
don’t know what to do, you’ve come to the real work.
don’t know where to go, you’ve come to the real journey.
bafflement, get employed.
impeded stream, sing.

Scars
The toddler gasps for breath-
suffocating
and years later can’t swim
underwater holding breath
scar tissue is too stretched
to trust lifeguards
or priests, or grandparents,
or tight necked clothing
like a barber gown to catch the hair
or a choker of jewels
or an intimate mate exchanging
fluids, embraces and panting prana.
scar tissue has no give…

This is when they were five and 3 years old. Now at 8 and 6, less echoing, more individuality!

Skat in the woods
My mistakes leave skat in the woods:
little turds of guilt
or sometimes elephant skat
where worlds meet
and put me on a
totem of shame
for all to mock.
And then humility rains down
upon my head:
natural hydration for my soul!

Hairy Man
Wild Wisconsin Woodsman
with the screw driver nails
and gorilla forearms
silent as a leopard
hearing of an elephant
and flotation like a seal
forage ’til you sniff me
waiting here for a cuddle-
a muddle with my beast.

These women are my tribe: To infinity and beyond!
The Vibrant Channeled Creator

Work of sight is done; now do the heart work on the pictures within you.
Rainier Maria Rilke
Click! goes the shutter on the glitter that is you!
The vibrant color of your stance:
The chance that I might model you:
An athlete’s discipline.
Click! goes the shutter on the chatter that you speak!
The truth articulated:
I want to plant the words:
Then cultivate their growth.
Click! goes the shutter on the matter that you bring!
The vision that you carry:
To the altar of your life:
To offer as a blessing to us all.
A dedication to Emily.

6 Delicate (like Jean Follain)
His delicate palms held mine
poised to slip away;
when suddenly he slapped the backs
and giggled;
we lighted, and once again
he caught me quickly
and all who saw
squealed with delight
at elder trapping younger!

Death: the word
Many picture the grim reaper;
when in fact, he’s familiar.
Not hooded, but radiant
with glory’s aura
our ancestors, waiting for us
to welcome us home
to the vast feast, the fatted lamb
the harped music and dance of angels
a divine Father, who sent his son,
to turn death into life, decay into birth.
energy incarnate.
