It rushes on invisible paths
Circuits.

My magic mouse scrolls
Pans
Zooms
Even when I’m not touching it.

The tabs line up on parade.

Mail quits.
I’ve overloaded my mailman.

My body tries to rush
To keep up the speed.

I forgot:
Mega hurts.

I am organic;
A living, breathing natural.
Unhurried
Neutral
Solid
Rooted.

Nothing super about me.

Waiting

“I like the way you wait.
Never push.”
Waiting is faithfulness
A slow unfolding
A conversion.

Plenty to do
While waiting.
Look up
Through grass and sky,
Expecting
The mystery to manifest
Its pain and glory,
Defeat and victory,
Justice and inequity.

Countless fibers
Woven
To brace the fall
From illusions of grandeur
Power
Autonomy;
To patience,
Surrender
And the human virtue:
Waiting…
For grace,
In its time.
Believing,
Waiting
For grace,
In its time.

There’s a Glut

There’s a glut

Of Xmas stuff!

It struts

Jingles

Mingles

Tingles

Us to bits.

We’re saved by sleep

Quietly wait

To wake

To wonder

Child again.

My watercolor of my daughter at 6 months old

Her expression still holds

Editing A Video on an iPhone4s…

Editing A Video on an iPhone4s is like trying on a dress that’s too small…

The buttons wince

since recessed

in the pull

of fabric

on the screen.

My finger’s

too big to fit

the tiny icon.

I swipe to zoom

‘n weave replaces dress.

iPhone rushes

to reformat

and passes me by.

My finger taps

once, then twice

in the tiny pleats.

Where is the help ?

How to scroll to the hem?

And back again

to the collar.

How do I

loop the sound

around the waist?

expandable?

Can I share iVideo

on iPhone

or must I launch it

into cloud, satellite or tower?

Is my dress

one size fits all?

Or most?

No way!

Fits only they

who blink and smile

and love my bytes!

A Poem is a Beep!

A poem is a beep,

A woosh, and a ping;

It beckons and dances

And moves you to sing!
