We all know what our day-to-day responsibilities are. We have our family, ourselves, our community and our work to attend to and so on. However, we also have a responsibility in terms of how we portray ourselves to others. Furthermore, as Children of God, we have a responsibility to be the best we can be.
When this card is drawn it often means that you have faltered in your responsibilities. You’re feeling disappointed in yourself and you may even have disappointed others around you. The card reminds you to look at your current responsibilities. Are you living up to them all? Perhaps you are going through the motions with ones that are no longer relevant to your life. You want to be that person people can count on. Make sure your deeds and your words truly reflect who you are.
What You Should Do:
Be clear with what you can and cannot do for others. Saying yes to something knowing that you can’t follow through is even more upsetting than simply saying no in the first place. You alone are responsible for what you can and can’t do. It’s impossible to do everything that’s asked of you. And, it’s okay to say no sometimes.
