To the Tune of “I’d Like to Teach the world to sing…”

I’d like to sing a tune to Frank and polka happily;
His faithfulness could strum the base; his heels tap vig’rously.
He’d grin and twinkle, nodding sage, and snatch a memory
To fly like kite on wind of cheer: another friend and tear.

His cats observed his frailty grown,
They purred in spite of pain;
Exchanging comfort everyday
Became their daily gain.

We watched him swim, pretend to drown,
At Simon’s Rock each week;
Observed his art, its careful line,
His love of detailed twist
On cat fur, tree bark, wood frame, all
His rolling, rhythmic gist!

Throw a Ball; Catch a Ball

Jules Feiffer says he was a failure as a child because he could neither throw or catch a ball. He couldn’t wait to grow up.(and draw cartoons)

And here is Frizztext’s “B” Poem, using ball, of course:
B is for Ball
Bounced By a child
Blue as the heart
whose love has run wild
Blacklisted and Broken
writ in Blank verse
Bloodied or Blooming
a wound that we nurse
Blasphemed in Bondage
Bankrupt of Bliss
all can Be cured
with just one
kiss

Hard-hat, sieve, halo,
solidarity atop
open mind and heart!

Stress Free

Sunday is not to
do the rest; but to rest from
outer<find inner.

Set your own goal.
Breathe your own pace.

Abundant Soft Edges

SethSnapFluffy

Blanket blots out edges-
prickly pointy burning bits:
fluffy polar fur!

Overflowing (Abundance 7)

Today in Physical Therapy, I was told to trace the alphabet in the air to stretch my rotator cuff in my shoulder.
This is the alphabet I traced (taller than I was standing). The flourishes had them transfixed.

Trace the vertical
diagonal, horizons,
flourished curved lines!

Scarcity (Abundance #6)

Autumn? Winter?

Autumn?
Winter?

Scarcity of warm:
Blizzard white wipes out the gold-
Flag unfurls from Fall!

God gives you lemons-make lemonade (Abundance#5)

making lemonade aka biking in the snow

Abundant snow grows
contour tracks, swivel skids, lines
to trace gracefully.

Fruits of Forgiveness

Together in comfort, acceptance and love

Together in comfort, acceptance and love

“forgive and comfort …or he may become so bitter, he won’t be able to recover…” 2 Corinthians 2:5-8

After forgiveness
comes comfort, acceptance, love
daily acts of faith!

Enter: Time and Space Limited Concert

Yesterday I captured music by Claudia and dance by Fred @ TSL, a wonderful media warehouse in my home, Hudson, NY.
Used my iPhone video camera and added one recording from Sound Cloud that was close enough to the stage to pick up the voice and instruments of Claudia and Ryder!
I had so much fun finding the technology and watching my partner, Don, do his thing! The tiger eye watches!
