    This is super! I like the truck “bed” which reminds me of any bed into which my weary body falls. When I was a kid, my sisters and I used to sleep in the back of the station wagon at drive-in movies. Your poem reminds me of how dead tired kids can get when they stay up past their bedtime.

      What palpable memories. Here I am describing my son and 2&4 year old grandchildren who clear bike paths in the forest and you remember sleeping on the station wagon tail-gate and staying up late!
