in Family Tags: Cat hospice, cushions in the sky, feline kin, from lap to angels, from litter box to clouds
from bones to soul
from here to there;
and then to everywhere
from laps, to chests,
to shoulder perches,
to memory recall
from comfort wrap
a tender stroke
to clutching at the wind
it’s not the food
or litter box
or cushions in the sky
what cat needs most:
belonging
midst angelic feline kin
he needs to pray
in spirit now
and praise his Q and M.

in Family Tags: chicken soup, coating my belly, completely belonging!, constant care, holding hands, spooning in the brew, table set for 5, walking home
Walking home from school for lunch
Satisfying!
Holding hands with siblings all the way
Satisfying!
Finding the table set for 5
Satisfying!
Spooning in the steamy brew
Warmly coating my belly!
Home-loved-constant-care!
Completely belonging!

A rush of words
determined gait
folds and folds of fun.
A blush of red
hair and cheeks
firecracker peaks.
Links to light
light to white
stars in galaxies.
Roots to buds
footnotes tell
kin and kith.
Truth be told
new each day
grace- it prunes&grows.
prunes&grows
sees&knows
grabs&throws.

white lies in the clouds
too far to be known
too foggy to be seen
misty mis-truths…
half truths in the sky
flitting by
skirting truth
cover-ups…
exaggerations far above
exalted views
blown up sights
magnified…
wiley protests
mis-directions
mis-adventures
wild tricks…
lies in the sky!
